It directly detects and evaluates the dual protection effect of anti-corrosion coating and cathodic protection for buried pipelines.
The Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) 1003011 assesses the cathodic protection system’s effectiveness by testing the on-off potential of pipeline cathodic protection. The DCVG Tester evaluates the integrity of the pipeline’s anti-corrosion coating by detecting the aging, damage location and size of the external anti-corrosion coating, as well as the direction of corrosion current on the pipe body at damaged points.
This testing and evaluation helps identify stray current distribution, assess its impact on external pipeline corrosion, quantitatively analyze and classify defect damage levels, determine defect repair priorities, and provide pipeline owners with reasonable, scientific maintenance and management plans.
