Working Principle
X-Ray Emission & Penetration: An X-ray generator emits X-rays that penetrate the cylindrical battery. Different internal components (electrodes, tabs, separators, electrolytes) absorb X-rays differently due to varying density and atomic number.
Imaging & Signal Conversion: A high-resolution detector (par ex., TDI line-scan detector, flat-panel detector) captures the attenuated X-rays and converts them into digital signals.
Automatic Analysis: Dedicated software processes the digital images, identifies defects (via preset criteria), and compares measured parameters (par ex., tab alignment) with standards to judge “good (D'ACCORD)” or “defective (NG)” products.
Auto Sorting: The machine automatically sorts NG batteries into dedicated bins, while OK batteries flow to the next production stage.
