It allows switching between multiple measurement units, including Vpp, dBm, and dB. You can choose between manual and automatic range modes to fit different measurement needs. It also offers three selectable measurement rates: short-press the RATE key during measurement to set fast, medium, or slow rates. Slower rates deliver more stable readings, while the fast mode retains one fewer decimal place than medium and slow modes (note: both channels share the same measurement rate).
While measuring voltage, it can simultaneously monitor frequency: the UT8633N covers 5Hz~3MHz, and the UT8635N covers 5Hz~5MHz. It supports floating and grounded measurement—long-press the CH1 key to set Channel 1 to grounded or floating, and long-press CH2 for Channel 2.
It includes a HOLD function: short-press the HOLD key to toggle it (only valid for the first line of measured values). When enabled, it captures stable values based on set CNT and WIN. It also has a limit comparison function (COMP), MAX/MIN measurement, three trigger modes (immediate, manual, bus), and a REL relative value measurement function—all designed to enhance measurement flexibility and accuracy for diverse testing scenarios.
